IP Hunter

Dynamic DNS for your home IP

Your own hostname. Always points to your current IP.

Install the desktop app on your PC, connect it to our API with or without an account, and get a personal subdomain that resolves to your public IP from anywhere.

1

Install the app

Run IP Hunter on your Windows PC to monitor your public IP.

2

Connect to the API

Use a device token from your dashboard, or register anonymously from the app.

3

Use your hostname

Your device gets a hostname under our DDNS domain — e.g. my-pc.ddns.example.com.

How it works

The desktop client reports your public IP to the API. When you visit your device hostname or call the resolve endpoint, the API returns your latest IP. Logged-in users manage multiple devices from the dashboard served at http://localhost:3002.
